Tasos Telloglou was born in Athens in 1961. He studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He started his journalistic career in 1986, writing for the newspaper I PROTI, and started working at the newspaper Kathimerini in 1989. At the same time, he joined the political department of Mega Channel. He was a Germany correspondent from 1990 to 1997. He has produced and presented more than 250 full-length reportage features on TV. In 1998, Tasos Telloglou, along with journalists Alexis Papahelas and Pavlos Tsimas, created the program “Mavro Kouti” (The Black Box – Mega Channel) and in 2004, he became chief editor of the program “Oi Fakeloi” (The Folders). From 2007 to 2013, he co-hosted the newsprogram “Oi Neoi Fakeloi” (The New Folders), along with Alexis Papahelas and Sofia Papaioannou, and from 2016, the newsprogram “Istories” (Stories) with Alexis Papahelas, Sia Kosioni and Pavlos Tsimas. He has won the award “PROSOPA” 8 times for his work on television, as well as the Botsis award once.
