Marilou Padaki (Madame Ginger)

Most people call her Madame Ginger, but in her personal moments, she is simply Marilou. She was born in winter, but loves the summertime and all it encompasses: islands, traveling, love, friends, eating out with friends, food in all its forms, at all times. She lives in Kypseli, the area where she grew up and where she returned to after many years to make her home, along with her dog Torro, aka Bifteki (burger). She worked in PR agencies for 7 years and for 3 more years in professional kitchens. Eventually, she decided to focus solely on her blog, MadameGinger.com, where she shares recipes, thoughts, flavor secrets and more. Her most recent venture is a series of vlogs, titled #EatLikeALocal, in which she explores the local eating habits of people in various locations, inside and outside Greece.
