Ersi Filippopoulou, born and living in Athens, is an architect and jurist. Her areas of expertise include cultural and heritage infrastructure projects development, as well as museum planning/ programming/ designing. Served as a high-ranking officer in the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and as Head of a Managing Authority responsible for cultural projects co-financed by European Union and Greece. Contributed to the maturation of the new Acropolis Museum project and to the urban regeneration programme of unification of archeological sites in Athens. Has taught at the Universities of Thessaloniki and Patras. Published in Greek and international collective works and peer-reviewed journals, as well as in Greek newspapers.
