Dimitris Christopoulos

Professor at the Department of Political Science and History at Panteion University

Dimitris Christopoulos was born in Athens in 1969. He is a political scientist and professor at the Department of Political Science and History at Panteion University, where he has been teaching since 2000. His research interests, his writing work and his public interventions focus on citizenship, immigration, censorship and minorities. He is a founding member of the Research Center for Minority Groups (KEMO). From 2003 to 2011 he was President of the Hellenic Union for Human Rights. From 2016 to 2019 he was president of the International Federation for Human Rights, of which he is now honorary president.
